Named for the Perseus cluster, where the lowest note in the universe emanates from a black hole, the Catalinbread Perseus Sub-Octave Fuzz is an analog sub-octave fuzz capable of one or two octaves down mixed with a fuzz tone.
The fun doesn 't stop there though, the Catalinbread Perseus Sub-Octave Fuzz allows for blending between the two or independent operation meaning it can produce just fuzz, just octave down, or both for a galactic, planet shaking sound. With controls for Volume, Cut, and Blend as well as a switch for one or two octaves down, the Perseus has plenty of variety and options to keep any guitarist busy. The Cut control is a handy tool for dialing in the perfect sound for any rig by adjusting the bass frequency domination of the signal. Different pickup and guitar volume settings yield a variety of tonal conflagrations and the octave tracking is precise enough to keep up with the quickest players.
